A lot of the time, seeing the same thing from a variety of angles can be useful.  You get to look all the way around, side to side, top to, well, other side.  This little toad is a pretty good example.  From the top you see stripes, the sides you see spots, and from the front you see the deep speckled eyes.  He chilled on my hand for a while, then the kid that found him put him back in the hidy-hole he hopped out of.
